A static QR code stores its payload directly in the image. That makes it useful when the destination or text is not expected to change after printing.
What GetQrivo releases today
The released GetQrivo web utility creates eight static payload types: URL, text, WiFi, email, phone, SMS, contact, and calendar event. Encoding happens in the browser. The current utility does not upload the QR payload to GetQrivo, require an account, or open a checkout.
Create a code
- Open the local generator.
- Select the payload type that matches the action you want.
- Enter the destination or content.
- Choose a dark foreground and light background with strong contrast.
- Wait for the independent scan check to pass.
- Download PNG for ordinary digital use or SVG for scalable print work.
Test before publishing
Scan the exported file with more than one device before printing a large batch. Test the final physical size, lighting, surface, and distance—not only the file on your monitor.
Static versus hosted QR codes
A static code cannot change its destination after it is printed. Hosted redirects and scan analytics require a separate live service. GetQrivo's hosted Dynamic Pilot remains release-gated, so the current generator should be treated as a local, download-only tool.
